Description: The mission of the Cuban and American Student Association (CASA) will be to promote greater awareness and education about Cuban and Cuban-American culture, society and politics, and to celebrate its culture and traditions. The organization will seek to achieve its goal by sponsoring guest speakers, discussions, and festivities. In addition, the organization will make it a priority to support the missions of and work in conjunction with other Latino/a organizations. As an organization under the umbrella organization, the Student Organization of Latinos (SOL), the Cuban and American Student Association will also strive to promote Latino identity both on campus and in the greater community.
